Real Estate: Why Now?

Several years ago, I had my first sales job. It was selling new and used Hondas. I had no idea how much I would enjoy not necessarily the selling part but rather coming alongside clients to help them meet their needs and wants. What quickly happened there was rising to the most successful Honda salesperson EVER at their dealership. That success and “how” I served allowed me to really do things non-traditionally. The stereotypical back-n-forth with the manager stopped and I handled it all, while not a manager at all. The referrals to and from entire families became the norm and was genuinely fun!

That newfound love for sales pushed me into the financial services industry that was more regulated but still allowed my passion to serve to blossom but in a different industry. If not for rejoining the U.S. Navy, I would most likely had continued. However, the allure of a stable government job paired much better with “Reserve life” rather than a commission environment.

Here, 13 years later, I find myself nearing retirement from the aforementioned government job and the opportunity yet again to serve others but in a profession that my path has greatly prepared me for. From working in the financial services world, being a homeowner a few times and coming alongside others to establish budgets and pursuing financial peace, I believe now is the time to begin this new adventure.

Welcome and thanks for being here at the beginning of a new path. I am excited for what lays ahead!
